We had a great weekend last weekend for Watson's baptism. Our family came into town and we enjoyed the nice weather outside by going to Piedmont Park with Jason's family and my brother joined us as well. There was a litter of 10 wk old yellow lab pups that Watson got to play with. It was the cutest thing ever watching them play with each other. I wanted to bring one home but Jason refused his only son of this opportunity to grow up with a new pup ;). We already have 2 that get on my nerves with a baby, so that is a good thing that he kept me grounded!
Watson did so good at his baptism- smiling at the congregation and preacher. He loved opening all of the presents at lunch afterwards.
I have been giving him finger foods for about 2 weeks and he has already gotten to the point that he pretty much refuses most baby foods. He does pretty well with the finger foods but isn't quite good enough with his pincer grasp, so he has a little bit of trouble but it works!
His new "skill" is throwing. He throws everything! He's been playing with balls and trying to throw them but now he's gotten pretty good at it. He's got a strong arm and things can go a ways! He likes watching it get thrown but then fusses until we go get it because he can't get it yet.
